In the 4th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes in the game Moises Gayoso did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Joaquin Prats. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simo Mihklisaar in the 14th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sílvio Luiz Vieira in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 18th minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 21stth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Pedro Luís Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sílvio Luiz Vieira, made in the 27th minute of the game. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Thanos to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Thanos in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- made a substitution. Zbigniew Zatorski replaced Simo Mihklisaar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zbigniew Zatorski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raphael Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Raphael Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Milagros Fraga notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas. Raphael Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zbigniew Zatorski took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Zbigniew Zatorski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Zbigniew Zatorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
