Blue Mountain Goats's Bo Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Miralles in the 5th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Holm in the 8th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Rosen having to interfere. In the 16th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bo Rosen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vincent Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bo Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Bo Rosen in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Holm came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Rosen was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 38 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Rosen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Blom came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Evert Holm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Blue Mountain Goats's Evert Holm ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Karlsson got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Erik Ekeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain Goats's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Bo Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Blue Mountain Goats's Bo Rosen. Bo Rosen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Evert Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Blue Mountain Goats's Gunnar Björkqvist got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börge Karlsson in the 80th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 82nd minute of the match. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Börge Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Karlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Bo Rosen. Blue Mountain Goats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. There was no doubt that Panama were the better team. Panama's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
