Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Natalio Calvino hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pocho Lavezzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza had several of the San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Oscar Passet as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 21st minute Isidoro Sarmiento clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. 21 minutes into the game, Pocho Lavezzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After 23 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Pocho Lavezzi. When Aristides Dayam fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Sarandi's protests and gave Aristides Dayam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Aristides Dayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Abraham Alguacil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oscar Passet but with some difficulty. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abraham Alguacil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Oscar Passet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Passet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Cambeiro took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Passet. Oscar Passet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Oscar Passet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Natalio Calvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Passet was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Tomas Berganza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Berganza really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Anacleto Urtzi replaced Eliseo Bingen. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 58th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Passet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 63rd minute of play. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of play. Oscar Passet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alex Cambeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Laguna in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Laguna came free, but Oscar Passet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Oscar Passet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Miguel Miralles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Passet came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Oscar Laguna. But to his dismay, Oscar Laguna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Oscar Passet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 94th minute of play. Oscar Laguna struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Oscar Passet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Oscar Passet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 97th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Garrido in the 98th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Matthew Garrido in the 100th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Gervasio Leguizamón.
