Honduras were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after atletic Luprechauns's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Sebastian Villa got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 16 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Bartoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Bartoli having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severiano Bartoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Espinar in the 42nd minute of the match. Roque Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, atletic Luprechauns's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Severiano Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Roger Milla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. atletic Luprechauns's Severiano Bartoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 59th minute of play. Sebastian Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Estavan in the 78th minute of play. With his leg Severiano Bartoli managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Severiano Bartoli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 81 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Bartoli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 85th minute of play forced atletic Luprechauns's goalkeeper Severiano Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Edmundo Espiga sped through atletic Luprechauns's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severiano Bartoli. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
