The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeusz Rutkowski saved 2kC Poznań from getting behind. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Janusz Pusiak to strike the kick off in the second half. 2kC Poznań's Fernando Ekialde managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascual Carballar in the 53 minute of the game. With a little luck, 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 2kC Poznań's Zbigniew Zaworski was substituted for Marek Buczko. 2kC Poznań's attentive Zbigniew Zaworski managed to snatch the ball when Orlando Tafalla made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Tadeusz Rutkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Lucjan Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, 2kC Poznań's Janusz Pusiak made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Pascual Carballar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
