Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Egg Chasers FC's Edward Preston started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Egg Chasers FC's Ralf Morcom quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ralf Morcom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ralf Morcom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Egg Chasers FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Abraham Taylor hit a great ball. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Egg Chasers FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stuart Caton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 26 minutes, Efrain Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Egg Chasers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Edward Preston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Egg Chasers FC's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stuart Caton came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 30th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Stuart Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stuart Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Stuart Caton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ricky Rowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hugo Ferrant made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott. Lennie Sanderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Aaron Alcocer. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Zane Holt. If Edward Preston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. The throw-in from Juan Rubio in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott. Stuart Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Egg Chasers FC's Steve Knott managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 58 minute of the game. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Taylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Egg Chasers FC's Zane Holt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 68th minute of the game Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in which Lautaro Puig played forward. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stuart Caton came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Noboa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 69th minute. Edward Preston hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 79th minute. Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garry Dudgeon in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Billy Bedford got a free kick in the 91st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Egg Chasers FC's Zane Holt. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. The Egg Chasers FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Costa Rica to win.
