After 22 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernanco in the 24th minute of play. Melquiades Beila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Melquiades Beila slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Fernanco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Calado in the 31st minute of play. Terapia Intensiva's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elias Romo in the 33rd minute. After taking down the ball on Terapia Intensiva's corner Elias Romo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Cotilla quite easily take care of the ball. Terapia Intensiva's Otoniel Bonet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 35th minute of play.
