Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertha Prasadha. Gala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bertha Prasadha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Daniel Zorita sped through Gala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bertha Prasadha. After a defensive mix-up in Gala's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertha Prasadha came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Sedef Mehmet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jajang Sianipar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced Gala's goalkeeper Bertha Prasadha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Bertha Prasadha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 27 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play forced Gala's goalkeeper Bertha Prasadha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sedef Mehmet, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gala's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertha Prasadha came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bertha Prasadha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th match minute, Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by I Gusti Wibowo to maneuver through the defense. When Jajang Sianipar fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gala's protests and gave Jajang Sianipar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gala's Jajang Sianipar got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sedef Mehmet got free with Julio Vera in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Sedef Mehmet made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Bertha Prasadha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sedef Mehmet in the 60th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bertha Prasadha. The goal made the score 0-4. After 68 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertha Prasadha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bertha Prasadha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Bertha Prasadha threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bertha Prasadha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bertha Prasadha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Bertha Prasadha to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertha Prasadha having to interfere. Bertha Prasadha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Bertha Prasadha. Gala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador played a much better game than Gala and deserved their victory. The Gala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
