Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Bolivia's Mario Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Severiano Bartoli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 8th minute of the match, Eduardo Fontirroig tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severiano Bartoli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Severiano Bartoli made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Alfonso de la Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Jose Senin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Eneko hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, atletic Luprechauns's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Ferrant came free, but Severiano Bartoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Chicote recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Bartoli having to interfere. A collision led to atletic Luprechauns getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Aldo Pe hit a great ball. Alfonso de la Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severiano Bartoli came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonso de la Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Bolivia's Julio Chicote sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severiano Bartoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, one of Bolivia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Celestino Urtsin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of Bolivia booed when atletic Luprechauns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Panpili didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Mario Fernandino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Bartoli skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Estavan to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Aldo Pe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The atletic Luprechauns fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Joshua Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Bolivia booed when atletic Luprechauns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. atletic Luprechauns's Roque Estavan got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Roque Estavan off the ground. In the 61st minute, Roque Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Pe, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Roger Milla came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Camilo Freixa could save by the left post. Camilo Freixa was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Isaac Uxio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaac Uxio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Julio Chicote blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Bartoli having to make a save. After having played for 80 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Ferrant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Pereyra kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The atletic Luprechauns supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing atletic Luprechauns would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
