Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Magnus Stålman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sakarias Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Sakarias Sefastsson however easily saved by the left post. In the 55th minute Bengt Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sakarias Sefastsson made a huge save. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, one of Trixande Fåglar BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sakarias Sefastsson. Trixande Fåglar BK's Ola Wikander was substituted for Alf Andberg. In the 93rd minute Karl-Magnus Stålman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
