With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roelof Kroon in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Maxime Besmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. When Honduras's Sebastian Villa in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AJAX AMSTERDAM's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when AJAX AMSTERDAM's Roelof Kroon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. AJAX AMSTERDAM's Hans Hulzebos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerry Cartwright during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Gerry Cartwright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antony Warnier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jos Maseland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roelof Kroon in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jos Maseland made the kick off in the second half. In the 60thth minute of the game Sebastian Villa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AJAX AMSTERDAM's Antony Warnier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxime Besmer in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, AJAX AMSTERDAM's Maxime Besmer got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AJAX AMSTERDAM's Antony Warnier. Antony Warnier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes in the game Derk Scheer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Paulo Garcia. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antony Warnier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antony Warnier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to AJAX AMSTERDAM getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Derk Scheer hit a great ball. Jos Maseland hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
