The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Tarquini helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Honduras booed when PomeziaRamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Tarquini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domenico Bertolini was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Bertolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of PomeziaRamblers's Domenico Bertolini. In the 29th match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Tarquini to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in PomeziaRamblers's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Bertolini came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Bertolini. PomeziaRamblers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Bertolini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Pala made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Armin Trivelli. In the 46th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domenico Bertolini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domenico Bertolini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 53rd minute. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Domenico Bertolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PomeziaRamblers's Domenico Bertolini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save PomeziaRamblers from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, PomeziaRamblers's Corrado Muzzolon got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Paris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Bertolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Paris in the 79th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Bertolini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute. Domenico Bertolini made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Sebastian Villa sent off a good shot on target. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Domenico Bertolini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
