Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malin Karolev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Malin Karolev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Figlewski having to interfere. Jan Figlewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Figlewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Qu Yao Yang made in the 50th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emmanuel Hinojosa immediately put the ball in play. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 庄辉雄. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Chiquinho Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qu Yao Yang got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by 庄辉雄. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when 庄辉雄 sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when 庄辉雄 got free with Rolando Noboa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 庄辉雄 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Figlewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
