If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Pala got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Armin Trivelli. 14 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Domenico Bertolini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Armin Trivelli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 20th playminute. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Oberrauch kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 31st minute of play forced PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Domenico Bertolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Escribano in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Bertolini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 37th minute of play forced PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Domenico Bertolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domenico Bertolini. Domenico Bertolini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domenico Bertolini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After the first half Uruguay were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Flavio Orsini hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Jaime Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Cazalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. PomeziaRamblers's Domenico Bertolini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save PomeziaRamblers from getting a goal against them. Francisco Seco in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domenico Bertolini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to PomeziaRamblers getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Anthony De Nardis hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PomeziaRamblers's goalie prevented a goal. Domenico Bertolini made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domenico Bertolini. Domenico Bertolini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 72 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Paris. In the 75th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Alex Tarquini hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Domenico Bertolini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Domenico Bertolini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Flavio Paris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 87th minute. Flavio Paris took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 90 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Alberto Gisbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Gisbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domenico Bertolini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
