A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. Macos Graciani made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Digital Monsterz FC's Amador Gabino. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anıl Özkut in the 23rd minute. Anıl Özkut scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Anıl Özkut sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Digital Monsterz FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anıl Özkut. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isak Jacobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45thth minute of the game Leandro Heidemann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Dante Lacasa managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Digital Monsterz FC's Leandro Heidemann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Isak Jacobsson in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rdth minute of the game Leandro Heidemann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Özkut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anıl Özkut in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Heidemann in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Birger Spetz made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Alberto Tafalla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Digital Monsterz FC's Isak Jacobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Isak Jacobsson in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute Anıl Özkut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Digital Monsterz FC's Leandro Heidemann made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Macos Graciani made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Digital Monsterz FC's Birger Spetz. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Özkut in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st minute, Anıl Özkut made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Leandro Heidemann scored 5-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
