Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Karlo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Romulo Abilio made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 43rdth minute of the game Aureliano Karlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romulo Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Karlo was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Paul Vase took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Romulo Abilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Lino Rios replaced Aureliano Karlo. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoff Stocks in the 77th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Christoff Stocks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoff Stocks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Lino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Mario Sesuldo notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AFC FUSION fully deserved thier win.
