Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Aureliano Karlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Karlo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Yepes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Bettencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romulo Abilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Aureliano Karlo made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Christoff Stocks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo. But to his dismay, Aureliano Karlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 28th minute, Christoff Stocks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 34th minute, Aureliano Karlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 37 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Aureliano Karlo sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Karlo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. 54 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoff Stocks. When Abram Luque fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Abram Luque a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Romulo Abilio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romulo Abilio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-13. AFC FUSION's Mario Sesuldo was substituted for Jan Hop. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Germano Bettencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Christoff Stocks succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-14 in the 75th playminute. 78 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Lino Rios put it in 0-15 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Lino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 86th minute Romulo Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16. The audience was convinced that Christoff Stocks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17.
