Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Medero Arraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Medero Arraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Siim Übi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siim Übi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siim Übi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Siim Übi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. FC CORK CITY's Siim Übi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced FC CORK CITY's goalkeeper Siim Übi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siim Übi. FC CORK CITY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Siim Übi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Siim Übi. FC CORK CITY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. FC CORK CITY's Siim Übi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play forced FC CORK CITY's goalkeeper Siim Übi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, FC CORK CITY's Medero Arraz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. FC CORK CITY's Siim Übi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, FC CORK CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Siim Übi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Cicortaș came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristi Cicortaș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Siim Übi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A hard shot 63 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Siim Übi managed to make a qualified save. FC CORK CITY's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita had several of the FC CORK CITY's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-6 score and a disappointed Siim Übi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Siim Übi came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho scored 2-8 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siim Übi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Siim Übi however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siim Übi having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Cristi Cicortaș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC CORK CITY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-8. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siim Übi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC CORK CITY.
