Aytaç Dilsafa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aytaç Dilsafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aytaç Dilsafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bekir Zühtü got free with Dante Lacasa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Bordo Mavi's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Aytaç Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Aytaç Dilsafa. Bordo Mavi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th play minute Fabinho Branco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Maros in the 33rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tamás Maros from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 35th minute Bordo Mavi were awarded a corner. Celal Kocakalp went to the cornerflag to take it. 38 minutes into the match, Mircea Chircu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mircea Chircu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Aytaç Dilsafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Aytaç Dilsafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of the match. Aytaç Dilsafa made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Artal during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolas Artal hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aytaç Dilsafa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. A hard and well directed shot from Joel Gaona led 58 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-2. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play forced Bordo Mavi's goalkeeper Aytaç Dilsafa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aytaç Dilsafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Mircea Chircu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aytaç Dilsafa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bordo Mavi to leave the ground with a draw.
