Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Niceto Donzel made the kick off which started today's match. Jorge Botello came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Botello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of the match. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when JORGE´S's Niceto Donzel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute, Bartolo Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Botello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Donzel in the 33rd minute of play. Niceto Donzel had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jorge Botello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jorge Botello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jorge Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jorge Botello made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 59th minute. JORGE´S made a substitution. Cristian Bibiano replaced Niceto Donzel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Rumaldo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to JORGE´S getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marcelino Rumaldo hit a great ball. Jorge Botello was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. Jorge Botello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 72nd minute of play. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jorge Botello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Jorge Botello in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in JORGE´S's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Botello came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Bibiano came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Bibiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venezuela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
