Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Arce in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Sinsacote AFC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bertel Haug ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Arce in the 22nd minute. Albin Mickelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Crayon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Santiago in the 34th minute of the match. Teodoro Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 43 played minutes Sinsacote AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bertel Haug.

In the 50th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sinsacote AFC's goalkeeper Felix Crayon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. 57 minutes into the game, Bertel Haug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinsacote AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Sinsacote AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertel Haug to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Felix Crayon made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Santo Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sinsacote AFC's İbrahim Özkok got a free kick in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Felix Crayon to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Sinsacote AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Crayon came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Santiago in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santo Santiago went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Sinsacote AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Crayon having to make a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sinsacote AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
