Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Anacleto Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Indalecio in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Peruxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes Vamos los PIBES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Ongile during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Vamos los PIBES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Ongile to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Feliciano Donzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vamos los PIBES's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Donzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, Paolo James was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vamos los PIBES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vamos los PIBES's Anacleto Peruxu. 1-2. The Vamos los PIBES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Indalecio to make the kick off. Venancio Perpinya kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. Vamos los PIBES's Anacleto Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Indalecio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vamos los PIBES the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. In the 99th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
