The FC Kurdish Warriors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Häger in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Edvin Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Pardo in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Allan Jonsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Allan Jonsson made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurdish Warriors's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Jonsson came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Harald Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Jarl Häger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kurdish Warriors and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jarl Häger hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Allan Jonsson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 38th minute of play forced FC Kurdish Warriors's goalkeeper Allan Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvin Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Paraguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Kurdish Warriors were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvin Johnsson made a kick off. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Edvin Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kurdish Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvin Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Kurdish Warriors defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Jonsson. The FC Kurdish Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Jonsson should have stopped the shot. Allan Jonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Mattias Rydelius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kurdish Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. A collision led to FC Kurdish Warriors getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mattias Rydelius hit a great ball. Allan Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Fredric Kilberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Allan Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Kurdish Warriors's Allan Jonsson. Allan Jonsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdish Warriors's Edvin Johnsson got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 88th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Covarrubias might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Jonsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Covarrubias ran back to his position shaking his head. Lars Trulsson made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Harald Wennerquist. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paraguay had played much better football throughout.
