In the 4th match minute, DON RAMON 72 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Estevez to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domingos Gervaso was slow to take the kick. During this time DON RAMON 72's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on DON RAMON 72's corner Domingos Gervaso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. When Domingos Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DON RAMON 72's protests and gave Domingos Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Uruguay booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Gervaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DON RAMON 72's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Primeiro came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on DON RAMON 72's corner Domingos Gervaso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. Rod Stewarts short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Akira Taffarel fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DON RAMON 72's protests and gave Akira Taffarel a yellow card for diving instead. 30 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Stewart came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Stewart in the 31st minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart. But to his dismay, Rod Stewart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Roberto Tohias got a free kick in the 36th minute. Rod Stewart's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to DON RAMON 72 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Wang Yi Fei hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. When DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rod Stewart made a kick off. DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When DON RAMON 72's Rod Stewart in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. After 68 minutes, Rod Stewart made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to DON RAMON 72 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Domingos Gervaso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 81st minute of play forced DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Jairo Primeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Kevin Carballal got a free kick in the 84th minute. Rod Stewart took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Roberto Tohias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Stewart in the 90th minute of the match. Prospero Nataniel hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jairo Primeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. DON RAMON 72's Jairo Primeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save DON RAMON 72 from getting a goal against them. DON RAMON 72's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
