Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Blom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Hermanö Oilers's Jerry Vallin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 12 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Jose Correa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronny Blom. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Ronny Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 19th minute of play. Tomas Illescas in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronny Blom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guillermo Mariano got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Camilo Gaos. Hermanö Oilers's Ronny Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 28th minute of play. Wilhelm Cane kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronny Blom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Emil Wallgren notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute, Wilhelm Cane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Blom made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Ronny Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Cane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Hermanö Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Hermanö Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Peter Bank was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hermanö Oilers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Bank to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hermanö Oilers. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Blom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Blom having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Blom. Hermanö Oilers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 87 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronny Blom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, Hermanö Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Åberg to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 97th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Hermanö Oilers's Emil Wallgren tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Venezuela players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
