Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 28th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Bienienda in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Chiuzbaian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
