An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 6th minute of play forced Vlashers's goalkeeper Pauli Palander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Dorel Petcu sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Levința's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Pauli Palander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of the match. Pauli Palander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vlashers booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pauli Palander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Ernest Mareș made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernest Mareș took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Panama booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Cosor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Levința in the 31st minute of play. Pauli Palander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Levința came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pauli Palander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Mareș came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Miguel Miralles got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Vlashers's Gigel Ghișerel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 57th minute Marius Levința shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Pauli Palander. Vlashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 70 minutes into the match, Marius Levința notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Pauli Palander in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute Marius Levința shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlashers's Marius Levința got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vlashers reached it. Pauli Palander made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Dorel Petcu charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorel Petcu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vlashers getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Leonard Stelaru hit a great ball. A hard shot by Abraham Alguacil from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Pauli Palander's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vlashers.
