A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. Andres Oper might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Oper ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Andres Oper sent off a good shot on target. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sivart Djursgård didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunvald Glarkrog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute of play forced Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Xiong Han in the 24th minute of the match. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strib Galacticos IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog did a great save. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Strib Galacticos IF's Valdemar Ginhart quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Andres Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Andres Oper made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vlad Pâslaru hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Timo Rokmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Gunvald Glarkrog in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunvald Glarkrog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Strib Galacticos IF from getting a goal against them. Gunvald Glarkrog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunvald Glarkrog having to interfere. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Strib Galacticos IF from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gunvald Glarkrog, 0-1. In the 88th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinhard Duse to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mexico's Joel Gaona tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball.
