Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Macos Graciani made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joel Gaona immediately put the ball in play. 25 minutes into the match, Miroslaw Puzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miroslaw Puzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Puzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Klement Bialakowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of play.
