In the 18th match minute, Grox Team F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Blixt to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Grox Team F.C.'s Mané Jacinto got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mané Jacinto. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Mané Jacinto in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mané Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes, Grox Team F.C.'s Sebastian Vettel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grox Team F.C. reached it. Grox Team F.C.'s Mané Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Grox Team F.C. from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Grox Team F.C.'s goalkeeper Mané Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Olayo came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luca Zorita's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Mané Jacinto on his right side and into the goal. 54 minutes into the game it was 4-1. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Godofredo Oriol tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute Tomás Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Jacinto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Oriol in the 65th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Blixt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Vettel was slow to take the kick. During this time Grox Team F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After 70 played minutes Grox Team F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Oriol. In the 74th minute, Erling Blixt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Grox Team F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Mané Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Erling Blixt sent off a good shot on target. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mané Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Olayo in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mexico had won after a very even match.
