Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 11th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Gunvald Glarkrog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Mariano Lacasa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gunvald Glarkrog quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 20th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Andres Oper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Andres Oper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 27th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunvald Glarkrog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Valdemar Ginhart in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Felix Garrido. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Gunvald Glarkrog made a huge save. In the 39th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. 41 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Oper came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Ginhart kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Oper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Andres Oper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strib Galacticos IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Oper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunvald Glarkrog prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Xiong Han in the 61st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Hagbard Ribov was substituted for Andres Oper. Strib Galacticos IF made a substitution. Sonni Engklint replaced Asım Arif Akatay. After a rather tough play, Strib Galacticos IF's Valdemar Ginhart got a free kick in the 77th minute. Gunvald Glarkrog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 80th minute of play. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Hagbard Ribov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hagbard Ribov really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Gunvald Glarkrog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gunvald Glarkrog didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunvald Glarkrog saved Strib Galacticos IF from getting behind. In the 90thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Valdemar Ginhart hit a great ball. Gunvald Glarkrog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Chile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
