Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ross Strong kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. 19 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Esteban Ikatz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 22 minutes into the match, Esteban Ikatz notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Daniele in the 26th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Esteban Ikatz took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio scored 7-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Camillo Daniele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camillo Daniele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ross Strong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafaela FC's Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 8-0 after 41 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio made the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 56 minutes into the game, Esteban Ikatz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Furia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Esteban Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nico Veit was slow to take the kick. During this time Rafaela FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Eloy Gipuzkoa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Esteban Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Esteban Ikatz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. When Ubaldo Lluis fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafaela FC's protests and gave Ubaldo Lluis a yellow card for diving instead. Costa Rica made a substitution. Alfredo Zoido replaced Lautaro Puig. In the 85th minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Ikatz in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 88th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Ikatz's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rafaela FC fully deserved thier win.
