Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yulian Tzambov, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Ribeiro in the 8th minute of play. Xacintu Ribeiros short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Dante Lacasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Czubski in the 12th minute of the match. Patrik Øskan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of the match. Hernando Harroyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Øskan saved Atlético Bucaramanga from getting behind. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Øskan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Øskan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Hernando Harroyo made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yulian Tzambov in the 32nd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacintu Ribeiro in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Atlético Bucaramanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Lilander to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacintu Ribeiro in the 39th minute of the match. Patrik Øskan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 42nd minute of the match. Patrik Øskan came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xacintu Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Yulian Tzambov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Bucaramanga's Patrik Øskan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Bucaramanga from getting a goal against them. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Xacintu Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hernando Harroyo who took care of the corner kick. Sotero Abrea was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 73 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrik Øskan. Facundo Cadaval showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Patrik Øskan made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Øskan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Xacintu Ribeiro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Bucaramanga booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernando Harroyo in the 91st minute of play. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Atlético Bucaramanga's Patrik Øskan managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético Bucaramanga throughout the match.
