Ilie Buhuș's late challenge caught a Pendex's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilie Buhuș helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, one of VIP:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VIP. The goalkeeper, Dumitru Berca, was totally fooled by Pendex's Rafael Nisio, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Pendex's Ruperto Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ţugui in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Nisio to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Pendex's Rafael Nisio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 69th minute, Rafael Nisio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dumitru Berca was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Pendex's Saul Bembe was substituted for Rafael Nisio. Pendex made a substitution. Antonio Inguma replaced Ryan Keuppens. Pendex's Ruperto Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobri Karapetrov in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Pendex's Saul Bembe made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Berca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79thth minute of the game Antonio Inguma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VIP's Dumitru Berca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Pendex's goalkeeper Ruperto Nayely had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dumitru Podgoreanu. The supporters of Pendex booed when VIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Ţugui didn't get a good kick on the ball.
