The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akis Remoundos during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Akis Remoundos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Denílson 慕容 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jorge Campos to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Ingars Miders came free, but Ni Guang Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Ioan Mavrodin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ni Guang Yong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleks Vaskov in the 25th minute of play. Jorge Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleks Vaskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Haciqämbär Carabajal hit a great ball. The Бенковски Тетевен fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Бенковски Тетевен's Denílson 慕容 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 35th minute, Бенковски Тетевен's Denílson 慕容 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Aleks Vaskov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jorge Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aleks Vaskov came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Бенковски Тетевен fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleks Vaskov couldn't finish the play. Denílson 慕容 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Campos having to make a save. Jorge Campos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson 慕容's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingars Miders to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Denílson 慕容 notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos. Jorge Campos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Akis Remoundos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denílson 慕容 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Denílson 慕容 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jorge Campos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 66 minutes, Denílson 慕容 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Бенковски Тетевен's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson 慕容 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Бенковски Тетевен's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Mavrodin came free, but Ni Guang Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Бенковски Тетевен's zone, Hermínio Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ni Guang Yong came out of the goal and Hermínio Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Cemil Uyaralp put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Macaco F.C.'s Ingars Miders got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ni Guang Yong. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson 慕容 in the 82nd minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson 慕容 in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Denílson 慕容 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Бенковски Тетевен booed when Macaco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Бенковски Тетевен support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
