In the 9th minute Dobri Karapetrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Denis Eudoxio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RÚSTICOS F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ştefan Coșereanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Omar Cristofol when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to RÚSTICOS F.C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Miguel Bizen hit a great ball. RÚSTICOS F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Dobri Karapetrov scored to the left of an out of position Omar Cristofol, making the score, 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Buhuș to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Denis Eudoxio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of VIP's Dumitru Berca. Dumitru Berca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Denis Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ştefan Coșereanu made the kick off in the second half. Ştefan Coșereanu took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Cristofol. Omar Cristofol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 54th match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Coșereanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Denis Eudoxio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RÚSTICOS F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Denis Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Berca having to interfere. Omar Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobri Karapetrov in the 66th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of RÚSTICOS F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VIP:s goal. Omar Cristofol had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Dobri Karapetrov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Eudoxio in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Berca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Denis Eudoxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Ţugui's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. A collision led to VIP getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ilie Buhuș hit a great ball. Denis Eudoxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Berca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Sebastian Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Ţugui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dobri Karapetrov came free, but Omar Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RÚSTICOS F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
