Ştefan Coșereanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ferit Boğatekin made a huge save. Dumitru Berca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahmad Lunggana in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the VIP defense, Rahmad Lunggana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dumitru Berca. The VIP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dumitru Berca should have stopped the shot. Rahmad Lunggana scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dumitru Berca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Gilmar Maranhense put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VIP:s goal. The score was 1-3 after a penalty in the 28th minute, where VIP:s Dobri Karapetrov tricked AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ:s Ferit Boğatekin with a difficult ball by the left post. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Controller Junel in the 33rd minute. Rahmad Lunggana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahmad Lunggana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Dekker in the 36th minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ţugui came free, but Ferit Boğatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ferit Boğatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Coșereanu in the 52nd minute of play. Ferit Boğatekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Coșereanu in the 73rd minute of the match.
