Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Finlay Stair got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Brasilino from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Karlus Waugh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Frank Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Murilo Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jamaica were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Brasilino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Finlay Stair took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Karlus Waugh advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 20th minute. If Frank Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Karlus Waugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Xavier was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Finlay Stair capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Finlay Stair really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Romon Oliver came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Brasilino's Hílton da Silveira got a free kick in the 38th minute. Frank Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hílton da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elder Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. When Hílton da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Brasilino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton da Silveira couldn't finish the play. Murilo Pena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. After 69 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Wayan Freeman. After recieving a nice pass, Brasilino's Aírton Nóbrega tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayan Freeman to maneuver through the defense. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Carlos Eduardo Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. Finlay Stair kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton da Silveira in the 87th minute of play. When Jamaall Padmore fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Jamaall Padmore a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Jamaall Padmore. The Jamaica players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
