In the 12th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastião Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 15th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Lennon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Legimin Witarya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Umbrella Corporation and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when Umbrella Corporation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Legimin Witarya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Sebastião Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastião Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Sebastião Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of the match. Sebastião Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute of play. Sebastião Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Umbrella Corporation's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from John Lennon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Alonzo Che put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Sebastião Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute. After 59 minutes, Leonardo Leoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Umbrella Corporation players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Sebastião Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes Umbrella Corporation's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Luque heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Sebastião Barbosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastião Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Kornasiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute John Lennon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfredo Curado was slow to take the kick. During this time Umbrella Corporation's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Curado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Alfredo Curado, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 88th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastião Barbosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Antoni Bartoszek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabrício Fantini fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umbrella Corporation's protests and gave Fabrício Fantini a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Umbrella Corporation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrício Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
