In the 4th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paul Drăgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 7th minute of the match. Purcaresti CSS's attentive Ionuț Gane managed to snatch the ball when Arturo Carvallo made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Paul Drăgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Purcaresti CSS defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Drăgan. The Purcaresti CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Drăgan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of play forced Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Paul Drăgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Jorge Sainz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purcaresti CSS the free kick. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Francisco Seco in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paul Drăgan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Purcaresti CSS's Paul Drăgan got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Paul Drăgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Purcaresti CSS's attentive Marius Timaru managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Sainz made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Paul Drăgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Drăgan. Paul Drăgan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paul Drăgan. That made the score 0-14 after 93 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Purcaresti CSS defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Drăgan. The Purcaresti CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Drăgan should have stopped the shot. Uruguay played a much better game than Purcaresti CSS and deserved their victory. The Purcaresti CSS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
