A collision led to AC Ony getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cristian Banciu hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Dei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. A collision led to AC Ony getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Isac Mihalcea hit a great ball. AC Ony made a substitution. Pompiliu Traian replaced Cristian Banciu. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Hermansson in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute Donald Tusk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Caba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Isac Mihalcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cisco Rubial read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Patricio Costa scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cisco Rubial, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AC Ony's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 84th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Although AC Ony had been in control for most of the match, Venezuela still came away with the win.
