Demonde Jacobson was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Hílton da Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hílton da Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Jamaica's Romon Oliver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Karlus Waugh came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leron Sale kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Frank Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasilino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, Finlay Stair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Finlay Stair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Murilo Pena fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brasilino's protests and gave Murilo Pena a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aírton Nóbrega. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jarell Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarell Hill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Murilo Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jamaall Padmore kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Aírton Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Finlay Stair ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 46th minute, Romon Oliver made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aírton Nóbrega to strike the kick off in the second half. Hílton da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Romon Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton da Silveira came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Brasilino's Aírton Nóbrega made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Nóbrega in the 73rd minute of play. Murilo Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton da Silveira in the 77th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Senna scored 4-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Finlay Stair kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Frank Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Finlay Stair went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Nóbrega came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Jamaica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Brasilino side.
