Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Fernandino started the match with the kick off. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Senna in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aírton Nóbrega in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. When Julio Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Julio Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brasilino booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Hílton da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Hílton da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Murilo Pena in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bolivia's Francisco Gallo. After 30 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Branco. 32 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Xavier, 1-0. In the 41st minute, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Aírton Nóbrega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aírton Nóbrega to make the kick off. Eduardo Fontirroig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Xavier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso de la Cruz during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Xavier. Brasilino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Humberto Xavier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Bolivia's Julio Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ediberto Martins in the 87 minute of the game. In the 88th match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Pena to maneuver through the defense. Brasilino's Humberto Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Juninho Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasilino and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bolivia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brasilino had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
