After having played for 8 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pierre-Emile Højbjerg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Stenman got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Lindberg in the 20th minute of play. Vitaliy van der Aa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Stenman got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by GrassNuts FC's Kent Stenman. But to his dismay, Kent Stenman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitaliy van der Aa went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Stenman got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roger Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Stenman in the 53rd minute of play. Bernt Finnman spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Venezuela's goal. Bernt Finnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 64th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Alfred Jonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GrassNuts FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Kent Stenman notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vitaliy van der Aa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Finnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GrassNuts FC fully deserved thier win.
