In the 6th play minute Isidoro Sarmiento came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Florin Niță. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Eraldo Lalli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 13 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Domaracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Marcin Lemiesz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla did a great save. Ratowo's Florin Niță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ratowo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Florin Niță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Niță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Domaracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Eugeniusz Maruda hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Berganza got free with Florin Niță in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ratowo's goalkeeper Florin Niță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Ratowo's Dominik Domaracki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominik Domaracki made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Eraldo Lalli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 2-3. In the 60th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Dominik Domaracki fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marcos Cotilla, passed just outside the right post. When Marian Chelebiyski fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ratowo's protests and gave Marian Chelebiyski a yellow card for diving instead. 68 minutes into the match, Ratowo's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Florin Niță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ratowo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Leon Sadlowski hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Florin Niță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Domaracki in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Ratowo booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ratowo's Zbyszek Petka was substituted for Roch Marosz. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ratowo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eugeniusz Maruda hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Petka in the 95th minute of play. The Panama manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ratowo to win.
