In the 21stth minute Lautaro Mancebo got a great chance to score trying to place the ball in the top left corner, but Vacid Seralp was prepared and efficiently stopped the ball from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Sergen Kutsalan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergen Kutsalan in the 28th minute of play. Vacid Seralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 31st minute of the match. The Calentura fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Calentura's Sergen Kutsalan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36thth minute of the game Luciano Barreiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Barreiros came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Calentura were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Vacid Seralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 65th minute of play forced Calentura's goalkeeper Vacid Seralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Sergen Kutsalan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
