Silvano Casanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Casanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Casanova, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. John Skytt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Skytt in the 25th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riki Čapo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Colombia's Samuel Navarro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tiburcio Argina in the 35 minute of the game. In the 36th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. NECKER49 were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when John Skytt made the kick off in the second half. Joel Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Joel Cristofor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Joel Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Isidoro Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Fagondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Fagondo. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basilio Hegoi was slow to take the kick. During this time NECKER49's players had a chance to rest. In the 96th minute, Basilio Hegoi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Colombia's Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
