After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Vitale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carter Vitale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 37th minute, Tiberiu Balint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Vash the Stampede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosimo Guarrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carter Vitale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. The Vash the Stampede players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gez Flintoff hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carter Vitale. Vash the Stampede's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carter Vitale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Mingione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosimo Nobili kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Carter Vitale in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alberto Mingione's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. A hard shot 77 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Carter Vitale managed to make a qualified save. Vash the Stampede's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Carter Vitale in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Carter Vitale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Mingione recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Mingione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carter Vitale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Vash the Stampede defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carter Vitale. The Vash the Stampede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carter Vitale should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vash the Stampede.
