Bize Heryer Trabzon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Cosimo Ianni kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nejat Taykurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Baykal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Baykal came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bize Heryer Trabzon's Nejat Taykurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Bilge Baykal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Navarro made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bize Heryer Trabzon's Necip Fazıl Nurettin. In the 34th minute Bilge Baykal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. When Cem İlbilge came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Bize Heryer Trabzon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cem İlbilge couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Ivan Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bilge Baykal made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Baykal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bilge Baykal might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bilge Baykal ran back to his position shaking his head. Teobald Betonowy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. After some careless play in the Bize Heryer Trabzon defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nejat Taykurt. The Bize Heryer Trabzon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nejat Taykurt should have stopped the shot. After 72 played minutes Bize Heryer Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Betonowy. 74 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Baykal came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bize Heryer Trabzon's Barlas Özerdal was substituted for Demircan Metiner. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Nejat Taykurt threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 93rd minute, Sebastian Villa made a precise shot to the right of Nejat Taykurt. Bize Heryer Trabzon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
