Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lakers FC's Adhemar Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Branco in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Lakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Percival Magalhães. Adhemar Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adhemar Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Lakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Montenegro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Branco in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Oséas Capixaba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. Clóvis Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clóvis Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Lakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Velloso. The long shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 33rd minute really tested Paulão Corrêa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Álvaro Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 41st minute. Sidnei Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Adhemar Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakers FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidnei Branco to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. After having played for 56 minutes, Sidnei Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lakers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sidnei Branco came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Lakers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidnei Branco couldn't finish the play. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Adhemar Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Hector Covarrubias made a precise shot to the right of Paulão Corrêa. Lakers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 67th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Percival Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lakers FC and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lakers FC's Percival Magalhães got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Hector Covarrubias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Álvaro Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Zoido during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. If Sidnei Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulão Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Álvaro Paiva hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Paraguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
